About the event

This retreat is an invitation for women who feel the calling of being together in ceremony. The environment at West Cape is one of pristine beauty, expansiveness and power, and will fully nourish us on our two days together. This is a time of great change and maybe you feel deep transformation is already happening within and without. In this retreat we will hold the sacred space where we can share in this healing together. Where we can be free and safe to express ourselves, witnessed and held with love and support, where we can be vulnerable, where we can connect and pray, set our intentions and create a vision for our future, and where we can ultimately surrender and let go . There will be a range of different mindfulness and embodiment practices to support us, and connect to the divine presence within.

The practices during this retreat will require a moderate degree of movement and fitness. These will include things such as a bush walk/some sand walking, gentle yoga, dance (conscious body movement). The Yang components of the retreat will be balanced with gentle, quiet YIN activities, where you can rest, restore and quieten the mind. These will include sound meditation, journalling, nature therapy. There will be opportunities to challenge yourself and the limitations of the mind through practices such as cold water ocean immersion and in the sweat lodge. And please know everything is voluntary and optional. However growth happens beyond the edge of comfort and in the unknown, so we will encourage participation in activities as you are able.

*This retreat is fully catered with a warming, wholesome vegetarian diet and GF options. Please contact the facilitators if you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies ASAP.

*Accommodation is simple dorm style rooms. Please BYO Bedding.

*Reception- Please note Mobile reception at West Cape can be intermittent. We would strongly suggest turning your mobile phones off for the duration of your retreat to minimise outside distraction and enjoy the digital Detox!

*Sweat Lodge (INIPI)- A traditional Sweat Lodge can be a deep journey. Please note this is not sitting in a sauna, but rather a healing process on the earth, sitting in a heated lodge and could be described as an 'ordeal' in shamanic terms. Its not always a comfortable or easy process, but can bring about deep cleansing, healing, releasing and purification. The Sweat Lodge process is beneficial for most people in an average state of health.

However you SHOULD NOT attend the Sweat Lodge if you have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions:  Cardiovascular disease, heart problems, hypertension  Kidney disorders, liver problems, Hepatitis B or C  Uncontrolled diabetes  Any communicable diseases The Sweat Lodge is also not recommended for women in any stage of pregnancy since it can bring about miscarriage. If you have any medical conditions or are on ANY medications (including anti-depressants) please consult your doctor or health care professional before participating in a Sweat Lodge.

Further information will be provided once your booking is secure. This will include details of what to bring and how to prepare for our time together.

*In the event of unforeseen circumstances that the event is cancelled, due to weather/sickness or other, full refunds will be provided to participants*

We look forward to sharing this sacred time together
